Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best:
Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pet's complete health care needs.
Surgical Services: Soft Tissue Surgery is performed by our staff veterinarians. Orthopedic surgeries are performed by a Board Certified Surgeon on an as-needed basis. If your pet is having surgery with us please download and complete the Surgical Authorization Form.
Anesthesia: We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures by the doctor and her assistant.
Internal medicine consults: We offer in-hospital referrals to a specialist, who may perform an ultrasound to assist with the diagnosis of more complicated cases. Radiographic diagnostic procedures are performed on site by a Board Certified Radiologist, who is scheduled on an as-needed basis. For pets who need more advanced imaging, there is a shuttle bus available to transfer the pet to Veterinary Imaging Center of San Diego. At this facility MRI's, CT Scans and I-131's are available. Electrocardiography Services: We provide ECG services on-site as well as direct referrals to a cardiology specialist.
Dentistry: Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery.
Laboratory: Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis, parvovirus testing, and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

Permanent Identification: We offer microchip identification.
Pharmacy: We maintain a complete inventory of quality pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet.
