Meet Our Staff

Leanne Schmitt

Hello my name is Leanne and I am aspiring to be a veterinarian. I graduated from San Diego State University with my Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2009. I have been working in the veterinary field since 2004 and I have been here at Jamacha Veterinary Clinic since 2006. I live here in San Diego with my husband and our 3 pets. We have a black and white domestic shorthair who is completely blind due to a genetic degenerative disease and a black domestic shorthair who was born without eyelids and has undergone 4 reconstructive surgeries. How I ended up with two kitties with ocular disorders is simply irony but I love them just the same. We also have a beautiful Labrador who loves anyone willing to rub her belly or quack her pheasant toy for her. My passion for veterinary medicine is fortified by the relationships I build with the clients and their pets. The human-animal bond is truly fascinating and providing your pet children with love and care is something that is extremely important to me. I look forward to meeting you and your animal family soon.

Tiffany Johnson

Howdy pet lovers! My name is Tiffany and animals are my biggest passion. I've been working in the vet field over three years now. Working with animals brings me pure joy everyday. I was born and raised in central Texas, but I've adapted well to the wonderful weather of San Diego. In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my Shih Tzu Kalvin and exploring the San Diego area. It's truly my pleasure to meet you and your lovely pet.

Lauren Libby

Hi there! I'm Lauren. I've been working in the vet field several years now and love everyday of it. For as long as I can remember I've loved animals of all shapes and sizes. Over the years I have cared for a variety for of pets including dogs, cats, horses, guinea pigs, rats, frogs, snakes, lizards, turtles, tortoises, tarantulas, and even millipedes! When I'm not working I can be caught hiking and exploring new areas all over with my adventurous dog Kodi. Kodi is my little brown mutt that is full of energy and always ready to to go on a hike or run, but in the the blink of an eye, will cuddle up with anyone willing to pet him. I can't wait to meet you and your pets!

Annie Pucci

Hey there, my name is Annie! I have been working with animals ever since I began volunteering at a shelter in my home town of Nogales, Arizona in 2005. After graduating from the University of Arizona in 2010 I decided to move out to beautiful San Diego and I am absolutely loving it! I have always had a love and passion for animals. Since the day I was born I have had a pet in my life and I wouldn't have it any other way. These days I share my home with my two dogs and two cats. Sox, a Lab mix, is my first born, she is a princess and she knows it. Sox's best friend Pongo, a German Shepherd, is the trouble maker of the house but it is impossible to stay mad at such cute girl. Charlie, a Siamese, is a lover and will snuggle with who ever will let him. Last but not least, the newest member of the family is Brick, an Abyssinian mix who thinks, if he tries hard enough, someday he will eventually catch his tail! I look forward to getting to know you and your furry children soon.
